Dr. Diane Valerio (BHK, DC)

Dr. Diane Valerio (BHK, DC) completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours Movement Science and Co-operative Education) degree at the University of Windsor. Subsequently she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario.

A resident of Windsor, Ontario, she became interested in the field of chiropractic after being treated for her own sport injuries while playing competitive basketball and volleyball at Catholic Central High School. While studying in university, she became more interested in rehabilitation of sports injuries while working as a student athletic therapist with the University of Windsor Lancers Women’s Volleyball program.

After earning her Human Kinetics degree at the University of Windsor in 2006, she pursued her studies at CMCC and graduated in 2011. In addition to developing her chiropractic skills, she became certified in a variety of techniques including:

  • Contemporary Medical Acupuncture – McMaster University Health Sciences
  • Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) – certified in Upper Limb
  • Graston Technique
  • Activator Methods
  • Custom Orthotic Therapy and Gait Analysis – The Orthotic Group
  • Certified Fitter – Sigvaris Compression Stockings

Dr. Valerio is the official team chiropractor for the Windsor Bridgeans Basketball team. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, working out, and travelling.
