Dr. Dean Tapak, BHK (Hons), DC
Dr. Dean Tapak has been practicing Chiropractic in his hometown of Windsor-Essex since 2009. Whether recovering from a work injury (WSIB), car accident, sports injury or just simply hoping to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle all patients are provided with education on the cause of their pain and a treatment plan developed to tackle their pain quickly.
From 2011 to 2015 Dr. Tapak provided free Chiropractic care to Windsor community members who were homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless at Street Health (Windsor-Essex Community Health Centre) once per week every Friday. During that time period 4000 treatments were provided to low-income community members who could otherwise not afford chiropractic care.
Dr. Tapak is currently part of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s “Low Back Pain Pilot Project” in Essex which aims to increase patient satisfaction with their low back care, as well as, reduce costs associated with specialist referrals and unnecessary diagnostic imaging by integrating Manual Therapists into Primary Care facilities.
Let’s discuss how Chiropractic can play a part in your recovery and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
